Thank you Nafy, from Nafy’s Blog for nominating me for this challenge.
Personally, I find quotes very interesting as someone, somewhere in history has had a nugget of wisdom captured, and it comes down to us in an understandable form.
Join me in celebrating the fact that many of the things I have said in the past were not captured, unless I used Google. Many of them would not have been understandable nor appropriate for broad consumption.
One of my favorite past writers was Robert A Heinlein. Somehow, it escaped me he had humor.
From Robert Heinlein we have:
”Women and cats will do as they please, men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.”
Another take on this, we have to be true to our nature and gender.
Oh, I can emphathise and sympathize with a woman, but I am cursed to be a man.
That is, I will still be a man, true to my nature, and confounded with women around me.
Important clue ladies, one should not try to turn your man into a female pal, no more than a man should try that on a woman.
A normal retort for me, “Well, what did I say to p… her off?”
Most entertaining if the lady is a stranger, but not if she is my partner or lover.
Of course, I had best not p… off the cat either.
