The Core of Life, Momma

Bare bulb, hanging on a couple of twisted wires.

Harsh light bouncing on Green walls lighting up the rickety ironing board below,
Cheap furniture no one would steal or burn. Worn clothes with patches, stains and history and abuse.
Jaw set like forever, pushing wrinkles through loving clothes
Momma had a mission, no hope, Big heart,
Momma was gonna do it for them.

Any Momma, the core of life.

Piss and vinegar,
Never quit, till God called you home….

Love those babies, do the best, give to them.
Life choices for them. Momma pushed the future for her kids, not for her.

Momma, God loves Momma.
Momma must be God like.
