In Loving Earth

Grounded by the carpet of sparkling immensity above me, I feel small.

Lost in an ocean of humanity, I am swept away.

Praying for a touch of a hand to ground me, to hold me, I wait.

Still, my heart is alone and drowning and wishing.

Feeling for God, for the very reason to be I reach and hope.

Yesterday, despair and fear, overcome by today awakeness.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, for my loved Earth, my dreams wait for me.

I pray I hope, I dream, for tomorrow.
